Lamarissimo! finale features Cardinal singers, Dance Company

Lamarissimo! will present the Cardinal Singers and the Lamar Dance Company in the grand finale to the concert series’ 2007-2008 season at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, in the Julie Rogers Theatre.
The concert, sponsored by Entergy Texas, will feature a diverse repertoire, from standards and show tunes to pop and rock. Selections will range from “We Will Rock You,” “Luck Be a Lady,” “A Tribute to Queen” and a “Jersey Boys” medley to Lamar Dance Company pieces set to the music of Savan and Fiona Apple.
The performance is open to Lamarissimo! season ticket-holders. Individual tickets, $12 for adults and $8 for students, will be available at the box office beginning at 6:45 p.m. prior to the performance.
Admission is free to students of Lamar University in Beaumont, with valid LU identification. Lamarissimo! is a presentation of the Lamar University Department of Music, Theatre & Dance.
