Lamar University will host its summer Grad Fair – “Graduation In Sight!” – from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, in the Wimberly Building at Lamar.
Grad Fair will enable August graduates to apply and pay for graduation, join the alumni association, purchase caps and gowns, receive important financial aid information, discover job opportunities through the Career Center, order and pay for invitations and class rings and talk with a graduate admissions representative.
Grad Fair 2007 is a campus-wide effort, with participation by the graduation coordinator and records staff, career services, financial aid, graduate admissions, the office of alumni affairs and the LU bookstore and its vendors.
“All the right people will be at the fair to answer any questions graduates may have,” said Tuyet Tran, graduation coordinator. “The event is designed to help graduates prepare for their big day.”
