Through a partnership with Computer Associates International, we are happy to offer free antivirus protection to our employees for home use. Computer Associates' eTrust software has been trusted to protect our enterprise network and now that industrial-strength protection is available for home use as well.
Through this arrangement all Lamar University Students (non-dorm residents) and employees are eligible for a free one-year subscription of CA's eTrust EZ Antivirus to protect their home computers. Dorm Residents may pick up a more advanced program from room 204 of the Carl Parker building. Securing home computers that connect to the company network is essential to the overall security health of our organization as well as protecting your own PC and data.
