Protect your property! Mark your textbooks by using your social security number or drivers license number on a page of the book that only you would know. Check out an engraver from the Police Department and use it to engrave your personal items such as stereos, radios, etc. These items are costly and should be marked this way (a drivers license number can be traced back to you easily if an item is found). If your property is stolen the chances of you getting it back are much greater if you have it engraved. Do this in an inconspicuous place, underneath or behind the item.
