LU online programs tapped in reviews

Lamar University continues to be a leader in online education, a fact recognized not only by the success of thousands of graduates of its many online degree programs but also in rankings and reviews by several online organizations.

LU’s Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship program was recently ranked No. 7 in the U.S. In a review of schools across the nation, Lamar’s program stood out in both quality and affordability, according to AffordableColleges.com.

Lamar University’s M.Ed. Teacher Leadership program was ranked No. 20 in the U.S. In a review of schools across the nation, LU’s program stood out in both quality and affordability.

SR Education Group, an education research publisher founded in 2004, ranked LU’s online Bachelor’s in Engineering No. 21 nationally and ranked LU's online Master's in Nursing No. 13 for its high academic standards and commitment to affordability in its 2018 Top Online Colleges report. In the same report, LU's online Master's in Nursing was ranked No. 5 for "most affordable choices."

LU was named the No. 3 Best College for Lowest Student Loan Debt in Texas by lendedu.com, using data licensed from Peterson’s on the average student loan debt per borrower for the class of 2016.

The Student Loan Report highlighted Lamar University for its participation in the Federal Work-Study (FWS) program, ranking LU No. 21 out of 400 public schools offering FWS to students. The data is licensed from Peterson’s Financial Aid data set comprised of self-reported data by the colleges for the academic year 2015-2016.
