LU tapped No. 1 in 'Top Masters in Education'
Top Masters in Education, an independent resource for educators looking to enhance their own educational foundation, has published its first annual Best Value ranking of the top schools for online Master of Education programs in the United States.
Lamar University is at the top of the list of 35 schools this year. LU’s College of Education and Human Development offers a Master of Education in 10 different program areas with additional focused concentrations in educational leadership, counseling and special populations. Programs average 36 credit hours in length with supervised internships throughout the course of study.

LU’s College of Education and Human Development is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
