MBA program announces March 19 open house
Prospective students from all undergraduate majors can learn more about the advantages of pursuing an MBA at Lamar University at an Open House scheduled for 5:30 - 7 p.m. March 19 in room 140 of the Galloway Business Building.
The MBA program at LU offers flexible options for students interested in earning a graduate degree in business. Lamar’s program allows students with an undergraduate degree in business to complete an MBA in as little as 16 months. Those with a different undergraduate major can earn an MBA in as little as two years.
MBA students have the option to focus their studies in a specific area of concentration. LU offers concentrations in enterprise resource planning (ERP), health care administration, accounting, finance, marketing, leadership and entrepreneurship. The Lamar MBA program offers two certificate programs in online ERP or Leadership for students holding a bachelor’s degree who are interested in taking these courses, but not enrolling in the MBA program.
LU’s College of Business is fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The Lamar MBA program has been listed in the Top 100 internationally by the Aspen Institute and in the top 300 nationally by the Princeton Review.
Potential students can learn more at the College of Business’s MBA Open House from 5:30 - 7 p.m. March 19. The event, which is open to the public, will be in room 140 with light refreshments served in room 139 of the Galloway Business building.
