MBA program showcases offerings with Open House
Prospective students from all undergraduate majors can learn more about the advantages of pursuing an MBA at Lamar University at an Open House scheduled for 6 p.m. November 14 in Landes Auditorium of the Galloway Business Building.
With accelerated evening and early morning classes, the MBA program at LU offers flexible options for students interested in earning a graduate degree in business. Lamar’s program allows students with an undergraduate degree in business to complete an MBA in as little as 16 months. Those with a different undergraduate major can earn an MBA in as little as two years.
MBA students have the option to focus their studies in an area of concentration. LU offers concentrations in enterprise resource planning (ERP), health care administration, accounting, finance, marketing or entrepreneurship. Lamar also offers an online ERP certificate program for students holding a bachelor’s degree who are interested in taking ERP classes but not enrolling in the MBA program. The MBA program now offers a leadership certificate to help develop leadership qualities essential for success.
LU’s College of Business is fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The Lamar MBA has been listed in the Top 100 internationally by the Aspen Institute for the past three lists and in the top 294 nationally by the Princeton Review.
Potential students can learn more at the College of Business’s MBA Open House at 6 p.m. November 14. The event, which is open to the public, will be in the Landes Auditorium of the Galloway Business building.
