Fall registration deadline extended
Students still have time to register for fall classes at Lamar University. Late registration for the Fall 2011 semester has been extended through the close of business Friday, Aug. 26. Today (Monday, Aug. 22) is the first class day of the semester.
University officials decided to extend the registration deadline as a service to students, especially those whose educational plans might have changed.
Students must apply and be admitted to Lamar University before registering for classes. For information on becoming a student, visit beacardinal.com or call (409) 880-8316.
Those who have been admitted as students may register online at lamar.edu by logging in to Self-Service Banner using their student identification number (L-number) and personal identification number (PIN).
Students returning to LU after a break in enrollment of less than one year must update their personal information in Self-Service Banner before registering. Students returning after a longer break in enrollment must reapply for admission.
A comprehensive public university and a member of the Texas State University System, Lamar University offers many online courses and more than 100 degree programs leading to bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.
