Quickstart Guide

Whether you've never played music on your computer or you've been using digital music players for years, you'll find that iTunes makes it fun and easy to organize and play your favorite CDs or even access Lamar online content. From there you'll be able to create custom playlists, burn CDs, and even share your music with others on your network.

Ready. Set. Get started in four simple steps:

  1. Go to www.apple.com/itunes and download iTunes for either Macintosh or Windows.
  2. Double click on the downloaded file's icon and follow the instructions provided.
  3. Restart your computer and launch iTunes.
  4. Enter the www.lamar.edu/itunes into your browser. Now you are ready to access Lamar on iTunes U.

Find it. Get Organized. Here's some helpful tips:

You can use the Browse pane in iTunes to see the names of all the artists in your collection. When you find the artist you want to listen to, you can see every album by the artist that you've imported. You can also browse by genre.

In iTunes, you can create as many playlists as you want, include as many songs as you want in each playlist, and rearrange the songs in each playlist until the order is perfect.
