Entering freshmen must have a ranking in the top 10% of their high school graduating class or an SAT of at least 1270 (total of critical reading and mathematics) in order to be considered for admission to the Reaud Honors College. A Composite score of 27 or higher on the ACT can be used as a substitute for the SAT. Applicants are also expected to exhibit a record of academic achievement and community involvement.
Current or Transfer Students:
Students who have completed at least 12 hours of academic courses at Lamar University (or another college or university) and who have a GPA of at least 3.5 may also apply for acceptance into the Reaud Honors College.
