With more than 1,200 school districts and 9,200 school campuses, the State of Texas offers ample opportunities for great counselors and clinicians.

Our department offers two 60-hour graduate degrees and three concentrations in counseling:

• M.Ed. in Counseling and Development with a concentration in Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling
• M.Ed. in Counseling and Development with a concentration in Professional School Counseling
• M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Our goal is to prepare passionate, highly-skilled school educators, counselors and mental health clinicians who will excel in their chosen environments. Members of our faculty, in addition to their work as researchers and clinicians, are supportive, encouraging and available to you as you complete your degree.
