Graduate Students
Students who wish to pursue a master's or doctoral degree at Lamar University should apply as graduate students. To be eligible for graduate admission, a student must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Prospective graduate students should submit all admissions materials to the College of Graduate Studies at least 30 days prior to the start of the semester in which they wish to begin studies. Required admissions materials include:
1. An admission application completed online through the Texas statewide application system or on paper.
2. Official transcripts from each college or university attended, including the accredited institution from which the applicant earned a bachelor's degree.
3. Scores on the GRE or GMAT (for MBA applicants). The Career & Testing Center administers both the GRE and GMAT.
