Adult Learners
The Adult Learner Services is an entrance assistance program for adults who have not decided on a specific program of study or who want to take a course for content only. Adults who meet the entrance requirements of Lamar University may enter the university as an Adult Learner. Adult Learners may take up to 50 hours of core curriculum courses before selecting a specific field of study. Adult Learners are advised by the Center for Adult Studies of Public Services and Continuing Education. Adult Learners must abide by the university's probation and suspension policies as well as all other university rules and regulations.
